Job Description:
Leading online IT network is looking for a Marketing Programs Manager to join its Fremont offices. This position works closely with executive sales and field sales staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of integrated marketing programs for a range of sales and marketing initiatives
  • Development and execution of field marketing sales initiatives
  • Development of new sales products, working closely with site directors and network operations to ensure seamless launch of new ad programs
  • Forecasting and assessing new opportunities for advertising and revenue generation
  • Reviewing and reporting accurately on log files and site traffic data, collecting internal data and disseminating it to staff
You will work closely with advertising sales to provide key proof and data points to optimize sales and product development efforts. You'll craft messaging, write, and package data in compelling, creative ways, including presentation materials, sales collateral, and press releases.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years experience in marketing, preferably in an online media or publishing environment
  • Exposure to and understanding of IT and development communities and the tech products and service they use
  • An equal balance of analytical and creative writing skills. You must be able to package data in creative ways to present compelling marketing messages
  • Knowledge of and experience working with research providers of all kinds, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Media Metrics, Neilson//NetRatings, I/Pro and others
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle a multitude of projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and proofing skills
