South East Sales Manager

Job Description:
SourceForge is the largest, and most rapidly growing IT Publisher. It is emerging as the voice of the IT community, leveraging user generated content. SourceForge needs a strategic Ad Sales Manager in the South East to cover the Southeast region.
Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue in a scaleable, sustainable fashion
- Regularly visit existing and potential clients face to face to build strong business
- Have a strong understanding of client goals and objectives and be able to sell solutions that help them accomplish those goals and objectives
- Gain new business through strategic account growth Work with marketing to build advertising solutions and proposals
- Work with marketing to build advertising solutions and proposals
- Be able to accurately report on all regional activity on an ongoing basis
- Maintain 7-10 outside sales calls per week
- Accomplish revenue goals assigned with comp plan
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of sales experience in the high tech publishing space
- Demonstrated record of success selling advertising solutions to top high tech companies within the southeast
- Have a deep understanding of traditional and new media, media buying cycles, industry trends and Web Publishing
- Ability to work in a rapidly growing, creative environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
